One Galle Face has offered Legacy London a standalone unit, opening in 2027: the whole range under one name. Where to find us on Level 3 until then, and what changes.

Legacy London is getting a shop of its own at One Galle Face. The mall has offered us a standalone unit, opening in 2027, and it will be the first place to carry the whole Legacy London range under one name. This is what is happening, why it matters, and where to find us in the meantime.
What is changing at One Galle Face
Today our pieces are on Level 3 of One Galle Face Mall, on the right-hand side of unit L3-25, a unit we share with LCY, a separate Sri Lankan company. It has served us well: Colombo customers have bought the 3D Optical knit, the Majolica and the Sorrento there since the first pieces arrived. But a shared rail shows an edit, not a range.
The new unit changes that. It will hold the men's knitted polo shirts and knitwear, the shirts and everyday pieces, and the women's edit, the Mayfair dresses and the knit tops, with our own team on the floor and a window that reads Legacy London. The opening month and the unit number will be announced on the One Galle Face store page, in this journal and on Instagram as soon as they are fixed.
Why One Galle Face
Three reasons, none of them complicated. It is where our Colombo customers already shop: the seafront mall in the centre of the city. It sits a short drive from the workshop in Colombo where every Legacy London piece is knitted, cut and sewn, so new colours reach the rail within days of being finished. And a shop of our own lets us do the thing knitwear needs most: let you feel the knit, compare the fits and try two sizes before you choose.
What stays the same
The Havelock City Mall flagship on Level 01 keeps the full range, and the men's range stays at No. 503 Union Place. Online, the whole collection is at legacylondon.co.uk with prices in rupees, free delivery across Sri Lanka and cash on delivery at checkout.
The making does not change either. Legacy London (formerly LCY London) designs in London and makes in Colombo, and has done since the house began in 1997. No logos on the garments, cotton knits built for the climate, and sizes from S to XL with the garment measurements for every style in our measurement guide.
A note on the two LCYs
Because the names get mixed up, especially in Colombo: Legacy London traded as LCY London until 2026. LCY, at lcy.lk, is a separate company, and it is the LCY whose range shares the One Galle Face unit with ours today. The standalone store removes the confusion at the door. Until then, this guide explains how to tell the two apart.
